Titles read: Can you believe your ears No. 3. All microphones have queer ideas on certain sounds which don t always register as you d imagine. For instance guess this sound . Over a blank screen we hear a kind of crunching, chewing sound. Visuals appear to show C, U of a man eating celery. We then hear a sort of tinkling bell sound this turns out to be C, U of soda being squirted from a syphon (this cataloguer apparently cannot believe her ears ) Next, we hear a kind of faint brushing noise. Visuals show C, U of a man shaving before a mirror. Then we hear someone dialling a number on a telephone; visuals show a woman sitting up in bed and doing the same.
