When Andy Warhol created his artwork Double Elvis in 1963 he most likely didn t know (or expect) it to become true just about a year later. For this (shall we call it postmodern ) attempt to satisfy the fans by giving them double Elvis in ONE movie Elvis notorious manager Tom Parker actually demanded two times the salary for his client. Well, somehow it s only logical. ;) Elvis appears in the two roles that describe his career up to that point: The Hillbilly he started out as and the handsome soldier
