The Colombian superstars sixth studio album is one of those goeverywhere programs that makes the reggaeton hero seem like a versatile experimentalist while sustaining all his global street cred. From the saucy dembo of Perra to the personal deets of 7 de Mayo, he throws a wide net and delivers some of his most engaging work. Weve been planning to capture some of JOSEs stellar tracks in performance for months now (as we did in 2020 with the Colores material) and in August we had our shot, as both Balvin and Vevo took over sections of New York to render their creative collab. Suerte was shot on a Brooklyn roof, with the Manhattan skyline in the background a dazzling start to a cool performance series.
