During this talk, we will analyze how much memory typical Spring Boot microservice requires, which conditions affect memory growth and how to utilize cloud hardware most efficiently. Besides, we will compare how different Java versions behave in Docker containers in terms of memory usage. As a result of the talk, we will try to identify a couple of base rules related to Java memory control.
