Metallica Call Of Ktulu solo cover and lesson

Tuning: E standard. This solo features loads of different techniques, incluing bends, tapping, alternate picking across strings and more. One of the things many people seem to miss is that Kirk plays the D minor arpeggios across the strings using alternate picking (not sweep picking ). Definitely makes this lick tougher then Also for the scale run in the first half of the solo, I play it using alternate picking, but it sounds like Kirk throws in some legatos in there.
