Eteins Pas Marso Riviere June 2016 The Place

Perfomed in June 2016 The Place Howard Theatre London, Marso presents a slightly reworked version of the solo Eteins Pas which was originally made at The Place. A fragment of an idea that has evolved over the last few years, developed during Choreodrome 2009 at the Place (London) and presented at Touchwood and The Places 40th Anniversary. The piece was inspired by the idea of life after death, with many ideas coming from reading stories about out of body experiences. This source material was a great stimulus to challenge my existing movement vocabulary and ways of thinking while performing. The piece is partly improvised. Eteins Pas toured in Italy, Spain, The Reunion Island (France), and the UK. It has won 1st Prize at HOP2013 Barcelonas International Hip Hop Dance Theatre Competition and 3rd Prize for the Solo Choreographic contest at the 15 Masdanza International competition in 2010.
