On Saturday, August 20, Gay Men s Health Crisis (GMHC) hosted the 21st annual House of Latex Ball featuring categories for competition in exuberant expressions of dance, voguing and modeling of fashion designs. Close to 3, 000 people attended from the tristate area as well as nationally and internationally. The event also included HIV testing and educational materials provided by GMHC and other communitybased organizations. The theme, A Night at the Latex Museum, The annual ball taps into the creativity, resiliency and strength that exist in the House and Ball community. Individual and team winners are selected by a group of respected judges. Trophies and cash prizes are offered for various categories.
