KEENING Erase ( Official Video)

Erase is the first single of Keenings debut forthcoming EP The Yellow Portal to be released in late 2021. Keening started as a splinter project by The Raudives singer Marc Atkinson, it was completed in collaboration with Brandon Jacobs (Neils Children) and producer James Aparicio (Credits include Depeche Mode, Mogwai, Spiritualised, Nick Cave). The Yellow Portal takes you on a sonic journey through sickness, mental illness to redemption via a witches brew of references from Charlotte Perkins and Robert W Chambers to Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Have A Nice Life and Joy Division. The Yellow Portal is more than just an album, its a cursed gateway into a paranoid world of cosmic and sonic fear. The Yellow Portal was created during the first lockdown of the COVID 19 pandemic.
