Return of R Sihanouk to Phnom Penh after Khmer Rouge victory in April 1975

On September 9, 1975, NORODOM SIHANOUK and MONIQUE return to Phnom Penh. PENN NOUTH and KHIEU SAMPHAN proposed to NORODOM SIHANOUK, Pyong Yang, the post of head of state for life. Several Khmer Rouge leaders Son Sen, Hu Nim, and with thousands of Khmer Rouge executives and soldiers greeting him at the airport. But, this is just a Khmer Rouge Propagating to Khmer King.
