Exploring the Largest cave in the world Soon Doong, Pt. 1

Exploring Son Doong cave in Vietnam. This is my first video from the series of exploring the world with camera. Son Doong Cave is the worlds largest cave, measuring an incredible 5 kilometers long and reaching up to 200 meters tall. Some spot even 300+ m from lower levels. 2. The cave was accidentally discovered in 1991 by a local farmer named Ho Khanh. 3. The name Son Doong is derived from the Vietnamese words Sơn (mountain) and đoòng (cave). So it s literally a Mountain cave :) 4. The cave is home to its own ecosystem, complete with its own climate, jungle, and rivers. 5. The cave is so large that its estimated to contain enough space to fit an entire New York City block. 6. The cave contains the worlds largest stalagmite, which is estimated to be over 70 meters tall
