Qutb Minar: World s Tallest Brick Minaret, Rust Resistant Iron Pillar of Delhi, India ( Antiquitech)

Today we will look at the tallest brick minaret in the entire world and the surrounding complex, which sits in Delhi, India, created in 1199, and known as the Qutb (sometimes spelled Qutub) Minar Complex. Also within this ancient complex is the Iron Pillar of Delhi, a rust resistant iron pillar said to be constructed roughly around 400 AD, and brought to the area between 1100 and 1200. The iron pillar has a very mysterious origin and has been the basis of scientific and historical research for hundreds of years, while the substantial red brick minaret, stands over 230 feet tall, absolutely towering over the rest of the nearby complex. The entire complex itself sits atop the ruins of the even more ancient Lal Kot (Red Fort).
