This tune I ve been a fan of Avishai for a long time really love his rhythmic, modern, middleeastern take on jazz tunes and this one embodies all of that. Super funky driving acoustic bassline off the top with lots of rhythmic tricks and syncopations to make you believe you re not just in 4, 4 time when 95 of the time, you are Combine that with a sick backbeat in sections, and an electric bass solo that comes out of nowhere at the end, and you ve got a real winner I think.
