Occurred on November 3, 2020, Manassas, Virginia, USA We found Paisley from a local rescue Save My Tail in the high desert of California. We picked her up just days before our Marine Corps base went on lockdown due to COVID19. We then had to move that summer from the desert of California to Virginia. Paisley, who we nicknamed Snots, had never seen piles of leaves before as a desert dog. After a long morning raking a huge pile of leaves, the guys in our family wanted to see what she would do with a leaf pile. She loved the leaves and began running away so she could get a running start to throw herself into the pile.
