Womans Plan to Make Necklace Out of Giraffe Poo Foiled at Airport
A woman s plan to make a necklace out of giraffe poo was thwarted when customs agents at a US airport seized the box of excrement. The woman, who was returning from a trip to Kenya, declared the box of poo when she landed at the MinneapolisSaint Paul Airport in Minnesota. She told officials that she had picked up the poo on her trip and was bringing it back to make a necklace. While the woman s plan may have been unique, it is not the first time that someone has tried to bring giraffe poo into the US. In 2019, a woman was caught trying to smuggle giraffe poo into the country in her suitcase. She said that she was planning to use it to make fertilizer. While giraffe poo may seem like a harmless souvenir, it can actually pose a serious health risk. Giraffe poo can contain harmful bacteria and parasites that can cause diseases in humans. Additionally, the poo can attract pests, such as flies and cockroaches, which can also spread diseases. US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) take
