Raise a Copper Vessel 4a Raising the Bowl

In this video I raise and set the rim on the first of the two vessels raised in the previous videos. I edited out a good bit of the hammering, while it is interesting, fun, challenging to do, it makes for tedious watching. I cut the clips to parts that make the changes happen. You ll be introduced to a raising hammer, more about that in the beaker videos to follow. The shallow rounded form gains a little height and develops a wide rim. Originally a part of a longer video, this the first half because it was 1:18 too long for YouTube.
