Frances Haugen: Facebook keeps lying to the public, AFP

In an interview with AFP, US whistleblower Frances Haugen says she hopes her disclosures about Facebook will spark youthled movements to stop using the social network, adding that regulations that force some of that transparency are needed in order to hold the tech giant accountable. We have to solve problems together, not solve them alone, she tells AFP at the end of a tour where she met policymakers across the European Union.
