Lori Lieberman (october 2011) Killing Me Softly with His Song
Lori Lieberman (born November 15, 1951) is an American singer. She was born in California and grew up in Switzerland, and signed a deal with Capitol Records in the early 1970s. Her selftitled debut album featured the tune Killing Me Softly with His Song, written by composers Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel after Lieberman saw Don McLean in concert, Fox and Gimbel developed the tune for Lieberman, and it would go on to be a charttopping single for Roberta Flack in 1973.
