French Police Letting Some Migrant Families Cross Channel To UK Despite 480m Deal

Back in March 2023, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak declared Britain will give France 480 million over three years to invest in police, technology and intelligence to help reduce the number of asylum seekers arriving on its shores in small boats. Reportedly, French police have admitted they are letting some migrant families cross the Channel to the UK because they cannot welcome all the misery in the world in France.
