Pierre Bastien is a musician who makes makes instruments out of domestic objects, pushpins, paperclips, meccano sets, and them sets them up like a small band. The meccano sets house different rhythm wheels that can be attacthed and removed easily, they rub or hit surfaces that are mic d up and can be rotated at different speeds to create faster or slower rhythms. keyboards are played with rolling pins strategically decorated with pushpins, which rotate and strike the keys on a cheap casio keyboard. At the beginning of this clip, Pierre accompanies his electric orchestra by playing an african thumb piano with a bow.
