When American funny man Bob Hunter (Bob Hope) boards a cruise liner bound for France, he s introduced to his European equivalent, Fernydel (Fernandel). Together, they cross paths with a shapely secret agent (Anita Ekberg) who believes that the script for Bob s next project contains valuable information about an international ring of counterfeiters. As a result of the confusion, Bob and Fernydel quickly find themselves accused of murder and on the run for their lives.
