Unbeaten IBF, WBA and WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Krusher Kovalev (2701, 24 KOs) received a proclamation from Clark County Commissioner Mary Beth Scow proclaiming Monday, July 20, as Sergey Kovalev Day on the Las Vegas Strip and throughout Clark County. Kovalev received the award at the McCarran International Airport, after arriving Las Vegas for his fight against Nadjib Irondjib Mohammedi (373, 23 KOs) on Saturday, July 25 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.
