Homemade Casting Spoons Dinner Bell
Here is a little picture compilation about how I make my special casting spoons named DinnerBell . I ve named them this way, because the rear harness with the metal beads attached rocks back and forth during retrieve generating a metallic clicking sound anytime they hit the kink between the two rear flaps. Also these beads seem to act as a keel weight whilst casting, they d position the lure cupping downward on flight, thus an air cushions evolves underneath the spoon enabling it to cast further than any other spoon of comparable size and weight. The DinnerBell also does not snag up as often as ordinary casting spoons, it has a tendency to rise off bottom quite fast and on a drop the hook would fall inside of the cupping with it s hookpoints pointing backward. But this is when the biggest drawback of that lure model occurs, on every 10th cast a hookpoint would foul with the D limiter of the rear wire harnes br, br,
