2004 Athlete Hockey Biography Hayley Wickenheiser was chosen for the Canadian Women s National Team in 1994 at the age of fifteen. She led the team to five gold medals at the Women s World Hockey Championships, a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics at Nagano, and a gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
