Joy Layne Your Wild Heart (1957)
Charted at, 30 on Billboard Hot 100 in February 1957. Joy s only charting single. She sounds like my favorite female singer from the 50 s, Teresa Brewer, and she s doing a song originally done by one of my favorite girl groups, the PoniTails, so how could I not love this Original Billboard review: Newcomer Miss Lane, a 15 year old, makes a strong bow with this catchy tune, which has stirred action in another version by the PoniTails. The young chick comes on a bit like Teresa Brewer and gives a definitely saleswise reading. Tune will have other covers, but this could be the big Written by Charles Sano and James Testa. Bside is Dum Dum.
