The Extended Play Sessions May 6, 2023 Kerri Powers performs her song Rummage during the Extended Play Sessions Concert for A Every year The Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center hosts a number of Fundraising Events for great causes. Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The Jimmy Fund Walk, METAVIVOR and many more over the years. Metavivor has been one we have focused on for the last few years. 100 of the money raised by Metavivor goes to research, treatment and support for women with metastatic breast cancer. It s a great nonprofit that is run by professionals, not career nonprofit executives that garner big paychecks. For this event we assembled an ALLSTAR band and four of Boston s top singer, songwriters to perform. The performers were Chuck McDermott, Sarah Leveque, Kerri Powers and Vance Gilbert.
