Franch pianist Jean Bernard Pommier Gabriel Faure Impromptu No. 3 in A flat Major, Op. 34, written in 1883
This Impromptu was given its official premiere by SaintSaëns. It s such intimate music in expression and many of his piano works deserving more attention as he wrote 13 nocturnes, 13 barcarolles, 6 impromptus, 9 preludes, 4 valsecaprices, a ballade, and other short pieces for the piano. Fauré had his own unique way of writing for the piano and his piano compositions contain some of the most beautiful music ever written in our opinion.
