Shannon and The Clams Earth Quaker Sessions Snakes Crawl

Welcome to the latest edition of EarthQuaker Sessions featuring Shannon and the Clams. Touring behind their critically acclaimed 2021 album Year of the Spider, the Oaklandbred quartet of Shannon Shaw (vocals, bass), Cody Blanchard (vocals, guitar), Chris Icasiano (drums, vocals), and Will Sprott (vocals, keyboards) stopped by the EQD studio two drop a couple of tunes from the album. Cody, sporting a pedalboard that includes EQD s Hummingbird, Eruptor, Grand Orbiter, Terminal, and a Plumes, takes the lead vocals on the ominous, simmering Snakes Keyboardist Will adds extra spooky touches by using the Space Spiral on his Moog Grandmother synth. Next, Shannon and Cody beautifully blend their voices together for the plaintive harmonies fueling the oldschool 50 s style waltztime torch ballad, I Need You Bad, with some added harmonies from groove keeper Chris.
