Pavel Khlopovskiy plays Toy Soldiers by Nikita Koshkin as part of our Siccas Media program Find your dream classical guitar on and check out to sell your guitar Pavel Khlopovskiy comes from a wellknown family of guitarists from Moscow. He studied with Natalia IvanovaKramskaya in Moscow, Prof. Albert Aigner in Lübeck, Prof. Andreas von Wangenheim in Karlsruhe and finished his education with Oscar Ghiglia in Basel with a concert diploma. The latter two teachers have influenced his style the most. In 2005, Pavel won the 1st prize at the prestigious concorso internationale di interpretatione in Gargnano. Moreover, he participated in the world premieres and first recordings of many contemporary composers such as Sofia Gubaidulina, Klaus Ager, Boris Yoffe, Vadim Werbitzky. Pavel lives and works as a freelance musician in Karlsruhe.
