Man Given 20 Months Prison For Shouting At Police Dog , Alex Phillips
A 34yearold man, Bradley McCarthy, has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for his actions during an antiimmigration march in Bristol. McCarthy was involved in clashes with counterprotesters and police, where he was seen shouting at people and even a police dog. Despite having a stable family life, McCarthy was among over 490 people charged in connection with the riots that took place across the country earlier this month. Prosecutor Emily Evans described his behavior as threatening and said he played a key role in the events at Castle Park and Bristol Bridge on August 3. Alex Phillips and barrister Andrew Eborn discuss the story. , news, police, crime, uk, government, dog, riots, talk, talkradio
