Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren demonstrates his everelusive Dirk Blast as performed in Scarve, Soilwork, Devin Townsend Project, Aborted, Sybreed, etc. Verbeuren came up with this application of the flam accent in 1994 and first recorded it in the song Shelly s Dead on the Scarve miniCD Six Tears Of Sorrow released in 1996.
