We re real Stans for Sven Weisemann here at FACT. Selftaught, Weisemann s sumptuously arranged music has found homes on Mojuba, Apple Pips and more, while his debut album, 2009 s Xine, was a real grower of a record. Broadly speaking, his music combines the soul of classic Chicago house with the longing of modern classical composers like Max Richter, but that s generalising: Weisemann s music is its own world, really, and it s far too easy to get sucked into it. We were talking to
