How to make log chair with hand tools

I found no tutorial for this kind of project using only hand tools, so I decided to make one myself. The design is inspired by the log furniture of American pioneers. The wood used for the frame of the chair is willow. It is very common around here, but any light and flexible wood will do for this project. Hazel is also a good choice. The frame is made out of green wood. The seat is seasoned piece of birch. No nails or screws are used, and glue was used only to secure the two pieces of birch used for the seat.
