Corn silage harvest at Stone Ridge Dairy Farm in Central Illinois. Green Earth Ag Service LLC conducted the harvest using up to three John Deere 9900 SelfPropelled Forage Harvesters running at one time. Chopping started on August 23, 2019 and they finished 980 acres in 6 days for a total of 24, 261 tons (average of 4, 043. 5 tons, day). They averaged 356, tons per hour over 68 hours with the last day averaging 602 tons, hour. Overall it took 917 loads averaging 26. 5 tons each to bring in this years harvest.
