4 K Ventimiglia Monaco Grasse, cab ride on the French riviera
It is on the famous French Riviera that we meet for this new video. 259km long, the Côte d Azur line connects Marseille to Ventimiglia in Italy, and is famous for the beauty of its landscapes, skirting the Mediterranean Sea for a large part. In a previous video we have discovered the line between Nice and Marseille before continuing to Paris via the LGV (link: Today, we re looking at the line leading from Italy to Nice, departing from Ventimiglia, crossing Monaco, before passing through Nice heading to Grasse on a branch separating from the main line after Cannes. So we ll be journeying through 3 countries in this video. If you aren t familiar with Monaco, it s the second smallest country in the world, behind Vatican City.
