Although cinematic music has always brought me so much happiness, I must confess that Mike Oldfield has always been one of my favorite artists and primary inspirations. His music has had a significant impact on my own work. So I wrote this song and especially this melody, as a respectful homage to his great musical heritage, which has given me so much joy over the years, as I did many moons ago with Dandelion for Michael Cretu and Enigma. Melantropie was a group effort with my pal Pablo Cano, who found the iconic guitar sound I sought and masterfully played this melody. And the beauty of Lara s vocals, which, even in a madeup language, aims to convey the great things that can be achieved when people work together for a better world. The title is a combination of Melange a French term that refers to a mixture or blend of different elements and concepts, and Anthroposophy, a philosofical concept which holds that humans may obtain spiritual insight an
