W650 W800 Reusable Air Filter Service

I was horrified to find out from a W800 owner that he was replacing the air filter with a new one instead of cleaning and reusing it. He did not read the holy chapters from the user manual every night before bed; thus, he missed the whole point of ownining a modern vintage Yes The point of owning a, w650, w800, Meguro is to perform the maintenance that people used to have to perform in the 60x and 70x. The filter is designed to be reusable in our bike and should only be replaced if theres, literally, a hole in it. Come on peeps. You have to clean and reoil the reusable air filter every second oil change or sooner if youre riding in muddy, rainy or dusty conditions. The user manual says you have to clean it after every rainy ride Seriously I aint doing it, but I do service it every second oil change 12, 000km, because I ride in prestene mountain air quality here.
