USAID s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) Inclusive Development Policy reiterates, guides, and reinforces USAIDs commitment to championing LGBTQI+ inclusive development and the human rights of LGBTQI+ people. Through the LGBTQI+ Policy, USAID reaffirms that LGBTQI+ Inclusive Development is fundamental for the realization of human rights, essential to the protection of human dignity, and key to effective and sustainable development outcomes.
