Channy Leaneagh of Polica paid tribute to the 60 s pop icon Lesley Gore by covering her hit song You Don t Own Me live at JBTV Studios in Chicago. Not only do Channy and her live band cover the song, which served as a big pop culture inspiration during the second feminist movement, but Polica has also included a studio recording of their rendition of the song in their latest release of the deluxe version of Shulamith (Mom + Pop Music).
