Use SALT to paint beautiful watercolour Daisies, simple beginners watercolor flower floral tutorial
Today s demo is for semiabstract Ox Eye Daisies, masking out the daisies first wish masking fluid and then using the wet in wet technique and salt to create a lovely background for the daisies, an unpredictable and very exciting method of painting loose flowers. Why not give it a try, and use any colours you like, I used Cotman prussian blue, raw sienna and burnt umber and Winsor Newton perylene green. I used ordinary fine table salt, various brushes that I found online, but use any brushes you are comfortable with. My board is at an angle of about 45 degrees tilt. My paper is 100 cotton Saunders Waterford, cold pressed, 11 x 15, 28cm x 38cm. Thanks for watching, and happy painting
