Te Waimate Mission Book Conservation, Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga

Paul Taylor of Spiral Path Book Studio demonstrates some of the techniques involved in book restoration and conservation of rare historic books from Te Waimate Mission. Numbering almost 700 volumes in total, the book collection represents the largestknown single collection of Church Missionary Society (CMS) and missionaryowned books in New Zealand, with 400 predating 1850.
