DIY Fairy Door Notebook Using Cardboard

Hi, in this video I show you how I made a fairy door notebook using simple materials like pizza boxes cardboard, eggs carton, hot glue and acrylics. I started by gluing the notebook to a bigger piece of cardboard. Then I reinforced the front cover with a few more pieces of cardboard to give some thickness to the door. I glued multiple pieces of cardboard around the notebook to make the door frame. The next step is texturing the surface of the door and shaping the frame. I used a box cutter for this step. I know you always stress out when you see me using this tool, but don t worry, I m very careful when using it and you should be too (this is basically carving). The texture will help a lot when making the patina. I made the stones by tearing up some textured egg cartons. I used acrylics for painting the whole thing. Made the door blue and the stones white. I added grey in the cracks to amplify the shadows of the textured surface. That s about it. I love my new sketchbook so much. So if you don t know by now,
