TWO ( english version) it s a first song from SIBERIAN TRILOGY PROJECT by Maria Matveeva Deep Forest This song about a unique and pure love interrupted by lifes adversities but kept alive in the souls and in the spirit of the forest, a magical place where the Siberian Woman met the spirit of her beloved. The protagonist of the video is Maria Voldina, a living shaman whom I met the first time many years ago in KhantyMansijsk at the North of Siberia. This is the place where the seminomadic people Khanty live in the Siberian taiga where temperatures can drop to 50 degrees Celsius. Maria Voldina is also wellknown poet and guardian of the Khanty peoples wonderful culture. The song is based on the words of a poem that her husband dedicated to her to celebrate their love, as well as on the harmonies of local folk songs. Eric and I have drawn inspiration for this song from these elements.
