Vadim Chazov was born in the city of Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) on July 4, 1975. In 1999 he graduated from Shadra Yekaterinburg Art College as an artist teacher. To improve his scenic skills he arrived in St. Petersburg in the same year, where he soon became a student of the Academy of Arts. During his studies Vadim tried to understand the tricks of not only his contemporaries but also the great painters of the past. The State Hermitage was a place of serious research work for him, and copying the old masters was an integral part of the training. In 2007, Vadim Chazov successfully completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. Today, he is a highly professional artist painter. He lives and works in St. Petersburg and is a constant participant of Russian and foreign exhibitions.
