Dylan Fuentes, Daramola Designer, Vevo Ctrl. If there was ever a clear sign of major chemistry, it would be the way Dylan Fuentes and Daramola vibed together here on Ctrl. The duo came through NYC to give us an inperson glimpse of Arena, their new joint project that deftly combines Fuentes Colombian flow with the Nigerian riddim and melodies that are so upfront in Daramolas discography. Latin musics history is, of course, deeply intertwined with the sounds of Africa, and Arena is another fine example of two artists capitalizing on such compatibility. As members of Tainy s NEON16 crew, their own compatibility was originally discovered when Daramola helped produce Fuentes BIPOLAR last year. Dylan is really my brother from another mother, says the Miamibased multihyphenate.
