How to help 5. 3 Vortec oil consumption due to clogged PCV valve

Our 05 Chevy Tahoe was using more oil than it should have been so we did some research on how to fix it. A lot of things said that it was a problem with the PCV valve and on some years you can just replace the valve. But our year of 5. 3 the PCV valve is made into the cover so we chose to take the cover off, clean it up and make some better drain holes. We hope this works for you
