The band Maze was founded by Frankie Beverly in the 1970s out of Philadelphia, once known as Raw Soul before relocating to San Francisco and renaming themselves. After meeting with the iconic Marvin Gaye and accompanying him on tour they became an immediate success. Succeeding this, Maze went on to record numerous albums of their signature funkinfused, soulful sound as well as many other hit singles, here we look at one of Daniels beloved bsides from the outfit.
