ty Flow, DESTRUCTION and REFORM tutorial
In this video we will use tyFlow to create an interesting object destruction and reform animation using 3ds Max and VRay. For this we will first build a particle setup in order to split up our geometry in small pieces. Afterwards the the particles are being animated and pushed outwards only to find their original position again. We will also generate nice dynamic spline trails using tySplines. After the technical setup is done we will build simple materials to render our final animation and descover a few simple tricks on how we can use VRayDistanceTexNodes in order to enhance our animation. I am using the publicly available tyFlow Beta and VRay 6 in this demo but you can also use identical techniques for older versions such as VRay 5, VRay NEXT and VRay 3.
