I love this movie and everything about it. Shows love as it is, I believe, in all its craziness and strangeness. Also wonderfully perfomed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader as Lee and (not Christian ). P. S. And yes, Im pretty sure, 50 shades of Grey borrowed the idea from this movie.
