David Tennants Doctor Who Video Diary, New Earth
When filming begun on David Tennant s run as the Doctor, both The Christmas Invasion and New Earth went into production at the same time. With the photo shoot being just days before filming, David had days to get into character ahead of a busy schedule. Back in 2005, David Tennant was given a video camera to record video diaries during his time on Doctor Who. This started from the moment he started shooting his episodes and continued right the way through till his departure in 2009. These entries were later compiled together and included as a Special Feature on the complete series box set DVD s. Most Doctor Who Video Diaries were over an hour long and consisted of short entries in order that they were recorded, giving fans a chance to follow David Tennant s Doctor Who journey. , DoctorWho
