Margareta (feat. Ingrid Jensen John Ellis), Tim Collins Quintet

Margareta is a beautiful composition from the pen of Christine Jensen. Christine was supposed to join us for this concert, but unfortunately due to the border situation between US, Canada she couldn t. It was a treat to be able to invite John Ellis to step in This performance was recorded at the Weatherwatch Farm in Saranac, New York as part of the Hill and Hollow Concert Series. Hill and Hollow has been bringing world class classical music to the Saranac, Plattsburgh region for 25 years, and every once in a while they let me show up and play some jazz music :) The sound you hear in the background is the RAIN POURING DOWN ON THE TENT the second we started the concert. We tried to wait it out, but it just kept getting stronger.
